Tucson Underground says, "Singer/guitarist Hank Topless revels in reptile-booted, over-the-top country singer fashion..." It is this fashion sense mirrored in the type of music Hank peddles: some of the best honky-tonk and classic country tunes ever penned and some damn-well written originals too. These odes are delivered with one of the sweetest country voices in Arizona, possibly the Southwest.

91.3FM KXCI Presents: Locals Only Volume Six – Live From Studio 2A. The newest compilation features sixteen live performances from the time period that Dr. Dan hosted "Locals Only". Dan was the host from 2008 to 2011, taking over from Don Jennings who did the program for ten years. Locals Only is still going strong with host Matt Milner each Monday from 8-10pm with a live performance in Studio 2A at 9pm on Community Radio KXCI.

Locals Only Volume Six is currently only available to KXCI members, as a thank you premium, but at the CD release it will be available to everyone.

"My First experience with Tucson music was at a benefit for KXCI in January, 2004. Right away, I was hooked. Tucson had something special going on with original, passionate songwriting performed at historic venues like The Temple of Music and Art, The Rialto Theatre, and various clubs and galleries. Over the years I was privileged to become a part of the creativity and host "Locals Only"."I am happy to share some of the best performances from 2009 through 2011, recorded live in KXCI's Studio 2A." - Dr. Dan

Like Kate Bush's work, or like PJ Harvey’s album White Chalk, the arrangements on O, You Sinners, Eliza Rickman's latest release, are edged with dissonance. Like Andrew Bird, she favors pizzicato strings over junkyard percussion and complex lyrical melodies. Indeed, Rickman’s co-producer Mark Greenberg is a frequent contributor to Bird’s albums.
