Guitarist/Singer and namesake “Gooding” and his band of brothers, Jesse Rich and Billy Driver, have been touring non-stop for 8 yrs. Their live shows are infused with the confident energy and heart-on-your-sleeve emotion that only comes from 3 childhood friends living out their dream on the road. Through relentless touring and honest interaction with their fans, music on the DVDs of Iron Man 2, Walk the Line, Ice Age 2, as well as commercials for Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler, the band is building the kind of brick by brick long-standing career that major label artists aim for, yet they have done it all without major label backers or corporate logos (the band’s 2012 eco-tour bus and tour will be completely fan-funded). Audiences witness what is almost a secular church revival, with sticks and strings left all over the stage, and a final act of Gooding playing two guitars at once.
The Jits are a melting pot of influences. From hard rock to alternative country. All band members have been performing, recording and touring in numerous Tucson bands for many years. "The Jits... demonstrate the fact that inventive alternative rock isn't dead." - Tucson Weekly

"Kyle Bronsdon... embodies everything rock 'n' roll rebelled against in 1954: swing, sophistication'' - Tucson Blues Society 'Bronsdon's... sound springs directly from lounge acts of the post-war 1940s and goes straight for your head…he creates original songs that feel timeless.'' - Tucson Citizen "Bronsdon... reminiscent of that blues-jazz legend Mose Allison. And happily, Bronsdon's trademark clever, humorous lyrics remain intact.'' - Tucson Weekly

"Pork Torta... The fountainhead of the Bloat Records conglomerate, this Tucson ensemble has been a favorite of the underground for more than a decade. Genre-free and uncompromisingly inscrutable, The Torta has consistently kept the dance floor filled, but it's always a mystery why. Yes, the songs groove; you might even hear a band member say 'booty.' But you know something else is lurking just below the surface - not necessarily sinister, but perhaps there is a joke being played that you aren't in on." - Tucson Weekly
"You may upset Al Perry by referring to him, as so many do, as 'legendary,' since this implies a less-than-contemporary stance among pioneer hardcore rock innovators. Far from retired, the venerated guitarist and songwriter has been a fixture on the Tucson-based roots-rock and alt/country scene for decades, widely credited as one of the first musicians to successfully perform 'punked-out country' to timelessly adoring audiences worldwide." - All Music Guide "Al Perry... like an old-school preacher; timeless voice, stern demeanor, but a twinkle escapes those pale eyes once in a while. Laconic, ironic, dedicated to curating what used to be known as country and western, Al Perry is a testament to the best of live music in Tucson." - Tucson Underground
Described in SPIN magazine as "a high-energy cross between Brian Wilson, Paul Stanley, and Elton John,” Adam Marsland's pop adventurism has earned him one of the more prolific and intriguing music careers of the last 15 years. A talented singer, arranger, performer, multi-instrumentalist and "one of the most gifted songwriters to come out of the west coast in a long time" (Time Out-NY), Marsland has pulled off rock, punk, baroque pop, soul and alt-country through the course of ten albums and 24 tours.

"After listening to Big Meridox’s The Block Bully Album, it is safe to say that this is just pure good music. A few of you may not agree if you’re in tune with today’s modern hip hop, but for most of you who have a great appreciation for Golden Age hip hop, you will definitely appreciate this offering.” - DaGreenBeat

Ever since Andrew Collberg was a child, he has been passionate about making music, writing songs, and playing shows. He has proven to have what it takes to make these dreams come true: talent, devotion, creativity and dedication. He spends most of his time at home writing & working on his new songs, making time to even see his friends a rarity. However, this has been the case for Andrew most of his life. He was 8 when he discovered his love for music, 16 the first time he won a band contest, 18 when he debuted his first album, and 22 when he created “On The Wreath”- an album full of catchy and guitar oriented songs, and gems many a hyped UK band would build their entire career upon. Andrew is not British, though. His hometown is Tucson, Arizona, and the opinion leaders in Great Britain haven’t discovered this lively scene in the Southwest US. Andrew Collberg belongs to a group of incredibly talented musicians such as Brian Lopez, Sergio Mendoza and Gabriel Sullivan, who have already set foot in Europe on their legendary “Tucson Songs“ Tour in 2012. Collberg: "Retro indie folk that nods to John Lennon, Simon and Garfunkel, and Elliott Smith." - AZ Night Buzz "(Collberg) is a little like a postmodern Simon & Garfunkel with some John Lennon and Elliott Smith tossed in." - The Music Edge
A distillation of wide ranging influences led to the material that became “GEMS”, the newest release by John Courage and The Great Plains. The production ranges from sublime psychedelic sweeps, guitars disguised as synthesizers and mercenaries, bass lines that dwell and propel, and a dry drum smack that boogies to the backbeat of vintage soul, 90’s hip hop and trashy drum machine funk. The vocals wind tales through double stick melodies, with an unique commentary on Northern California’s underground industry. Ethereal synths, pianos and spooky loops frame the outer edges, while concert toms turn the beat back over on top of itself. Background vocals that sweep in layers play foil to plinky funk guitar lines that Quincy Jones may have prescribed.
Liila is the reincarnation of Catfish and Weezie, with original members Louise Le Hir on Bass and vocals, Connor Gallaher on guitar and pedal steel, with the addition of drummer Adan Roberto-Martinez.
